  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder (elaichi) (optional, for aroma) - optional
  • 1 tbsp Water (for melting jaggery)
  • 2 tbsp Chopped dry fruits (optional, like almonds or pistachios) - optional

Instructions

    Dry roast sesame seeds (til) on a tawa over medium flame until they turn light golden and aromatic. Remove and set aside.

    Keep stirring constantly to avoid burning.

    Roast peanuts (mungfali) on the same tawa until the skins darken and they emit a nutty aroma. Cool and peel the skins by rubbing between your palms.
