How to Make Chole with Dahi Chaat (Traditional & Healthy Version)
Chole with Dahi Chaat is a beloved North Indian snack that beautifully combines the earthy flavors of spiced chickpeas (chole) with the cooling, creamy texture of dahi (curd/yogurt). This dish is a staple in street food culture, especially in cities like Delhi, Amritsar, and Lucknow, where chaat is a celebrated culinary experience. Each serving brings together chickpeas simmered with aromatic masalas, fresh coriander, tangy tamarind chutney, and a topping of whisked dahi, garnished with sev and pomegranate arils for a delightful crunch and burst of flavor. Traditionally enjoyed during festivals like Holi and Diwali, Chole with Dahi Chaat is not only a treat for the taste buds but also a reflection of India’s vibrant food heritage.
