- 1 cup White sesame seeds (til) (Use hulled seeds for softer texture)
- 3/4 cup Jaggery (gur) (Prefer organic or unrefined)
- 2 tbsp Water (For melting jaggery)
- 1 tsp Ghee (Clarified butter, optional for greasing) - optional

- 2 tbsp Chopped peanuts (Optional for added crunch) - optional
- 1 tbsp Chopped dry coconut (khopra) (Optional for flavor) - optional

Instructions

Dry roast sesame seeds (til) in a heavy-bottomed kadhai on low flame until they turn golden and start crackling. Remove and set aside.
