- 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder (kali mirch) - optional
- a pinch Hing (asafoetida) (for digestive aid) - optional
- 1/4 tsp Chaat masala (for tangy flavor) - optional
- 1/2 tsp Olive oil (or cold-pressed groundnut oil)

- 1/2 tsp Lemon juice (nimbu ras, optional for zest) - optional
