  • 10-12 Curry leaves (kadipatta)
  • 2 tbsp Raisins (kishmish) - optional
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili powder (lal mirch)
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder (haldi)
  • 1/8 tsp Hing (asafoetida) (optional) - optional
  • to taste Salt (sendha namak for vrat)
  • 2 tsp Cold-pressed mustard oil (sarson ka tel, or use coconut oil)

Instructions

    Heat 2 tsp mustard oil in a large kadhai or thick-bottomed pan. Once hot, add curry leaves and let them splutter on low flame for a few seconds.
