- 2 medium (about 250g) Potatoes (Urulakizhangu)
- 1 tbsp Coconut oil (preferred for authentic flavor)
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds (Rai)
- 8-10 Curry leaves (Kadi patta)
- 1-2 Green chilies (slit or chopped)
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder (Haldi)

- 2 tbsp Fresh grated coconut
