- 6 Garlic cloves (finely chopped (lahsun))
- 1 small Onion (finely sliced (pyaz))
- 1 small Carrot (julienned (gajar)) - optional
- 1 small Capsicum (finely chopped (shimla mirch)) - optional
- 1-2 Green chilies (finely chopped (hari mirch)) - optional
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce (low sodium) (optional) - optional
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder (kali mirch)

- 1.5 tbsp Oil (preferably cold-pressed or olive oil) (tel)
- 2 tbsp Spring onion greens (for garnish (hara pyaz)) - optional
