How to Make Apple Cake (Traditional & Healthy Version)
Apple Cake is a delightful Indian dessert that beautifully marries the natural sweetness of apples with the rustic notes of whole wheat atta. While cake is not indigenous to India, Indian households have adapted this treat to suit local tastes and ingredients, making it a favorite during festivals like Diwali, Navratri, and even as a special treat for chai time. The tender crumb, mild spices like dalchini (cinnamon), and the use of jaggery or unrefined sugar make this apple cake a guilt-free indulgence. This Indian Apple Cake is perfect for those seeking a healthy dessert, as it uses minimal oil, whole grains, and the natural goodness of fresh apples. Its moist texture and subtle sweetness appeal to both adults and children, making it a popular choice for family gatherings, festive occasions, or as a nutritious snack. Enjoy the comforting aroma and wholesome flavors that evoke memories of festive kitchens across India.
