How to Make Lychee Juice (Traditional & Healthy Version)
Lychee Juice, known as 'lichi ka ras' in many parts of India, is a cooling beverage cherished during the sweltering Indian summers. With origins in the orchards of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, this sweet and fragrant drink has become a staple at households and street-side stalls alike, especially when lychees are in season from May to July. The juicy, translucent fruit is prized for its refreshing flavor and delicate floral aroma, making it a favorite for both kids and adults. Lychee Juice is often prepared fresh at home, especially during celebrations like summer weddings or as a welcome drink for guests during Holi and Eid. Its naturally sweet profile allows for minimal added sugar, and it pairs beautifully with Indian snacks like chaat or samosas. This healthy, homemade version preserves the fruit’s nutrients and keeps the beverage light, making it a guilt-free treat for calorie-conscious individuals. Whether served chilled on a sultry afternoon or as part of a festive brunch, Lychee Juice promises a taste of seasonal delight and Indian tradition.
