How to Make Iced Latte (Traditional & Healthy Version)
The Iced Latte, while globally popular, has been lovingly adapted in India as a refreshing beverage, perfect for our warm climate and thriving café culture. In India, especially in metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi, the Iced Latte has become a staple among young professionals and students seeking a cool caffeine boost. Made with robust Indian filter coffee or freshly brewed espresso, chilled milk (doodh), and just the right amount of sweetness, the Iced Latte is both energizing and satisfying. Unlike the heavier, syrup-laden versions, our healthy Indian Iced Latte recipe uses low-fat milk and natural sweeteners such as honey or jaggery (gur), making it suitable for calorie-conscious individuals. It's easy to customize with regional spices like elaichi (cardamom) or dalchini (cinnamon) for a unique Indian touch. Whether you’re celebrating a summer festival like Holi or simply need a mid-day pick-me-up, this homemade Iced Latte is a delightful, health-conscious alternative to sugary soft drinks and processed beverages. Its smooth, creamy texture and the bold aroma of Indian coffee make it a beloved choice across households and cafés alike.
